Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of rolehunter.com (the "Service"). By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

RoleHunter aggregates publicly-posted job listings, lets you search them, and — if you upload a resume — ranks them against your experience using automated analysis. We are not an employer, recruiter, or job board operator for the listings shown, and we don't guarantee the accuracy, availability, or outcome of any listing or application.

Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest (temporary identity, data expires after 3 days) or register an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16.

Your content

You keep all rights to your resume. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service (parsing it and matching jobs for you). You represent that the resume is yours and accurate. Don't upload anything unlawful, malicious, or someone else's personal data.

Acceptable use

No scraping the Service at a disruptive rate, no attempting to breach or probe it, no using it to spam or deceive employers, and no automated account creation. We may suspend access for abuse.

Job listings & third parties

Listings, salary figures, and application links belong to their respective employers/sources; applying takes you to third-party sites governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we're not responsible for.

Match scores

Match percentages are automated estimates for your convenience — not a guarantee of suitability, an offer, or an outcome. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT LISTINGS ARE CURRENT OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer (including under EU/UK law).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except that consumers in the EU/UK retain the protections of their mandatory local law and may bring claims in their local courts.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers). We may terminate access for breach of these terms.
