Position Overview

This position owns end-to-end quality across IVIP's Discovery, Inventory, and Graph capabilities.

Today, each team tests within its own boundaries, across separate repositories and automation and performance pipelines. This role will own the full quality picture, building and maintaining automation that covers the entire pipeline, including test layers that do not yet fully exist for every team.

You will also own the on-premises and cloud infrastructure required for Discovery to ingest data into the system.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end test automation strategy across the Discovery, Inventory, and Graph teams, closing coverage gaps between individual test suites.

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using:

    • C#/.NET

    • NUnit

    • xUnit

    • NSubstitute

    • FluentAssertions

    • Playwright

    • PowerShell

  • Own and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure supporting Discovery data ingestion, including:

    • AWS

    • GCP

    • Okta

    • MongoDB Atlas

    • On-premises Active Directory

    • Additional platforms as they are introduced

  • Keep test environments representative of real-world hybrid customer environments.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

  • Help enforce the organization's 100% line and branch coverage requirements throughout the SDLC, from PR validation through release gating.

  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, including multi-stack environments, private module registries, and PR-gated plan/apply workflows.

  • Instrument and monitor test and infrastructure environments using OpenTelemetry and Datadog.

  • Identify and address performance regressions and infrastructure failures early.

  • Build new automated coverage and end-to-end testing layers where they do not yet exist.

  • Contribute as a full member of a Delinea sprint team, participating in architecture, design, and development.

  • Promote secure development and testing practices using OWASP principles.

  • Contribute to and improve shared testing frameworks, tools, and techniques across Platform teams.

What You'll Need

  • 5–8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or a related engineering role.

  • Strong hands-on coding experience with C#/.NET.

  • Ability to work with additional languages as needed, including:

    • JavaScript/TypeScript

    • PowerShell

    • Go

    • Python

    • Azure

    • AWS

    • GCP

    • Okta

  • Experience validating data integrity across distributed systems.

  • Comfortable working with strict quality gates, including 100% line and branch coverage.

  • Proficiency with Git and modern version-control workflows.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

We'd Love to See

  • Experience with Datadog or similar APM/observability tools and OpenTelemetry.

  • Background in identity, security, or discovery-oriented products.

  • Familiarity with graph databases and query languages, such as Gremlin/TinkerPop and JanusGraph.
