Job Description
The Labor Time (LTR / LTS) Analyst supports the development and validation of standardized repair labor times by assembling complete, accurate digital packages for labor time studies. This role connects published service information, torque specifications, and parts catalog information to ensure each study is documented, review-ready, and traceable from setup through closeout. The Analyst works with engineering, technicians, and program stakeholders to help ensure labor time studies reflect approved repair procedures and are supported by well-organized source documentation.
All functions performed by the Labor Time (LTR / LTS) Analyst are completed at the Engineering Garage located in Fountain Valley, CA.
As a Labor Time (LTR / LTS) Analyst, you will be expected to succeed at the following tasks:
Assemble complete digital packages that support labor time studies (LTR / LTS).
Review published service information and identify all relevant task steps associated with the repair procedure under study.
Compile the applicable procedural steps into the study package in a clear, logical sequence, maintaining accurate references to the published source information.
Review published service information to identify and assemble all relevant torque specifications for the procedure.
Review published parts information, develop an accurate parts list, and add required parts to the cart in accordance with established processes.
Verify that the digital study package contains the required task steps, torque specifications, parts information, and supporting documentation before study execution or review.
Review completed labor time studies to confirm that all required steps were followed and that the study documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with the applicable published information.
Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent documentation and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues before study closeout.
Properly name, organize, store, and archive all related files in the designated systems in accordance with program document-control requirements.
Close out completed studies by confirming required records are retained, package status is updated, and deliverables are ready for downstream review or use.
Maintain detailed records of package contents, research performed, revisions, and study status to support traceability and efficient retrieval.
Manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while meeting established quality and timing expectations.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, organization, and data confidentiality within the Engineering Garage environment.
Assist with additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.
