Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Officer to join the Health Group and play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Digital Health and Innovation to deliver strategic initiatives that shape the future of digital health education, research and workforce capability.
This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, innovation and operational excellence within one of Australia's leading health education environments.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Digital Health and Innovation, you will play a key enabling role in supporting the coordination and implementation of strategic digital health and innovation initiatives across the Health Group. You will provide high-level strategic, operational and project support, coordinate projects and deliverables, improve systems and processes, prepare high-quality briefings and reports, and support evidence-informed decision-making across a diverse and evolving portfolio.
Working collaboratively across academic, professional and clinical teams, you will contribute to strategic planning, project implementation, governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities that advance the University's digital health agenda.
About you
You are an experienced project and operations professional who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You have exceptional organisational skills, exercise sound judgement, and are confident managing multiple priorities while supporting senior leaders.
You will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with substantial relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive, strategic or project support within a complex organisation.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefings and recommendations.
- Experience developing and improving systems, workflows and business processes to support operational efficiency.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience supporting governance, quality assurance, accreditation or continuous improvement activities will be highly regarded.
- Strong digital literacy and the ability to leverage technology to improve business processes, support evidence-informed decision-making, and enhance project delivery.
What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position based at the Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $104,504 - $113,219 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $122,270 - $132,466 per annum.
