Pramac is looking for an experienced Product & Regulatory Compliance Manager to develop, strengthen and coordinate the company’s product and regulatory compliance framework across its international operations.

The successful candidate will ensure that Pramac products, processes and related business activities comply with applicable European and international regulations throughout the entire product lifecycle.

The role will work closely with Engineering, Research and Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation and Logistics, Product Management, Quality, Procurement and other relevant corporate and local functions.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer of Pramac Generac International, the Product & Regulatory Compliance Manager will act as the company’s key point of reference for product compliance, regulatory risk management and the implementation of new regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance governance

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Pramac's product and regulatory compliance framework.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance procedures, policies and documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating compliance activities across functions and international sites.
  • Support compliance monitoring, reporting and awareness initiatives across the organization.

Product and machinery compliance

  • Ensure compliance of products with applicable European and international regulations, technical standards and market access requirements.
  • Coordinate CE marking, conformity assessments, risk assessments, declarations of conformity and technical documentation.
  • Support Engineering and R&D teams in integrating compliance requirements into new product development and product modifications.
  • Monitor product compliance throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Chemical and Material Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with REACH, RoHS and other applicable chemical and material regulations.
  • Manage supplier compliance documentation and material declarations.
  • Support the assessment and mitigation of material compliance risks in collaboration with Procurement, Engineering and Quality teams.

Battery Regulation and Battery Passport

  • Support compliance with the EU Batteries Regulation and related sustainability, traceability and battery passport requirements.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation and management of battery compliance data.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation activities across the organization.

Transportation and Dangerous Goods

  • Support compliance activities related to the transportation of batteries, generators and other regulated products.
  • Assist in the application of ADR, IMDG and IATA requirements where applicable.
  • Contribute to the management of transportation compliance documentation, risk assessments and corrective actions.

Environmental and End-of-Life Compliance

  • Support compliance with environmental, recycling, waste management and end-of-life product regulations.
  • Contribute to activities related to WEEE, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and circular economy requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on environmental compliance initiatives.

Regulatory Monitoring and Business Support

  • Monitor relevant regulatory developments and assess their impact on products and business operations.
  • Maintain regulatory registers and support the communication of compliance requirements, risks and deadlines.
  • Assist in market access and compliance assessments for new products and geographic markets.

Documentation, Audits and Training

  • Maintain technical files, declarations, certificates and compliance documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits and coordinate compliance-related corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, training materials and awareness initiatives.

Education and experience

  • Degree in Engineering or a technical/scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, product certification, quality, engineering or related technical areas.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, electrical equipment, machinery, battery or related sectors is considered a plus.
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of CE marking, conformity assessment processes and European product regulations.
  • Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, Batteries Regulation and other product compliance requirements.
  • Basic understanding of dangerous goods transportation regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA) and environmental compliance topics (WEEE, EPR).
  • Experience with technical documentation, declarations of conformity, certifications and compliance records.
  • Ability to interpret technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business actions.
