Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Systems Trainer to join our Business Applications Team on a 12-month parental leave contract.
Working closely with our internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you’ll turn system and process knowledge into clear, practical training content and deliver engaging training sessions to employees across Talent International.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being in front of users, explaining systems in a simple way, creating helpful training resources and supporting people to become confident using business applications.
You’ll deliver new starter and refresher training, coordinate our monthly Tech Talks, and keep system guides and learning resources up to date as our applications and processes evolve.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with SMEs to understand business systems, processes and system changes, and translate that knowledge into easy-to-understand training.
- Create and update training materials including user guides, presentations, facilitator guides, Whatfix content and practical exercises.
- Deliver engaging system training for new starters, existing employees and teams requiring refresher training.
- Coordinate new starter training schedules and conduct follow-up check-ins to provide additional support where required.
- Plan and facilitate monthly Tech Talks, working with SMEs to identify useful topics and prepare supporting content.
- Keep existing system documentation and learning resources accurate and up to date.
- Gather feedback from training sessions and make practical improvements to content and delivery.
- Draft clear user communications relating to system maintenance, incidents and service disruptions.
- Maintain basic training records, attendance and feedback for reporting purposes
Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
Experience delivering systems training, learning and development, or change enablement initiatives.
Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
Experience creating and maintaining training materials, user guides and knowledge documentation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Desirable
Experience with business systems such as Bullhorn, FastTrack or similar enterprise applications.
Familiarity with digital adoption platforms, Learning Management Systems or eLearning tools.
Experience supporting technology adoption or organisational change initiatives.
